How I Got 2,000 Quality Prospects For Only $4.95?

How I got 2,000 quality prospects for only $4.95
by Tom "Big Al"Schreiter

With only $100 to spend, I would invest my money and time intogetting hot prospects to my site. Here is how I got 2,000 quality prospects in two weeks. You can purchase prospect lists or use pay-per-click to drive prospects to your site.

That sounds like an easy way to go. Just purchase a few thousand hot leads, send them an e-mail, and presto! Nothing happens. Why? There could be many reasons.
1. These hot leads thought your e-mail was spam.
2. These hot leads didn't know, like or trust you.
3. Your e-mail message was boring.
4. These hot leads weren't so hot.
They weren't goodprospects.
5. The web page you sent them to was boring.

There are a lot of factors that could sabotage your "hot leads"e-mail campaign. Here is an inexpensive way to get prospects and still keep most of your $100.

You can use this technique to build a mailing list or to build an opt-in prospect list. It's a great way to reach prospects that you don't know.

How? By using viral marketing.

You are going to allow your initial contacts to spread your message all across the Internet.

Step 1: Create a viral message.
What is the most viral type of e-mail message that is passed onto friends?
Jokes and inspirational stories. So let's find a good joke. That's not hard on the Internet. There are plenty of joke sites. I am going to pick a joke about bosses. Employees love jokes about bosses. And they will forward my boss joke to other employees . This is not only viral, it is target marketing. My market is employees who hate their jobs. So, I am reaching just the right prospects.

Step 2: Create a signature file that will send the readers ofyour e-mail to your website.
If you are not familiar with signature files, they are the P.S. at the end of your e-mail message. People are lazy. When they forward (viral) your joke to their friends, they will simply forward the entire e-mail message -including your signature file. Now your signature file (advertisement) is in front of qualified prospects with smiles on their faces. You must make your signature file interesting so that your prospects will have a reason to visit your web site.

Here is the exact copy of the signature files I used to create over 2,000qualified prospects in less than two weeks:

Are men better networkers than women?
Here's proof: http://www.fortunenow.com/flash/networkers.swf

I also used:

P.S. For a laugh and to see my wife's face,
Both signature files sent people to a short 15- second Flash presentation.

The Flash presentation was created by my15-year-old nephew. Cost? A six-pack of beer. (Just kidding. His mom wouldn't let me.) So, I took him to Starbucks as a reward for his one hour of"programming."

He ordered an exotic coffee for $4.95.
The signature files worked well because:
Are men better networkers than women?
Here's proof: http://www.fortunenow.com/flash/networkers.swf
and P.S. For a laugh and to see my wife's face,
created tension and curiosity.

If your teaser lines are boring, they just won't work. Because the Flash presentation was funny, people passed on the link to their co-workers and friends. The viral effect was massive. At the end of the Flash presentation was an offer for 77 FREETips. About 45% of the viewers subscribed.

Now I had 77 more chances to create a relationship with the prospect. This technique was one of the cheapest, yet most effective way for me to create targeted, qualified prospects. So what could you use for your signature files?

Here are acouple of examples to get you thinking:
* Click here to see which picture looks like you.
* Click here to see a picture of my boss' face when I told him"I quit."
* Does your telephone bill look like this? Click here to see a picture of my bill.
* Click here to see a picture of my wife's stomach.
* Click here to see how a 46-year-old grandmother gets free tickets to visit her grandchildren.
* Want a four-day work-week? Click here to see how.

What do all of these examples have in common? They are interesting. They create curiosity. And your readers will be directed to your web site. So if you want more traffic, want more leads, or just want to build a huge opt-in mailing list, try creating a viral signature file.

How to Differentiate between a good and a bad MLM / Networking Marketing Company?

Author:
Cecilia Chang

Article:
Copyright © Cecilia Chang

Do you once join or are you in these business now?

MLM or Network Marketing which is a very good sales strategy starts out from the western countries.

Its strategy flow goes like this, a networker sell products to consumers thus consumers also become a networker so on. This network expands rapidly and slowly into a human pyramid whereby people expand from one > two > four and so on...

This kind of business saves rental and advertising fees. Do you agree? But this business has recently become worse. Many companies open up to cheat people. Below is a case study extractfrom a newspaper.

A 20 yrs old son forces his dad to buy a normal mattress at $2.7k. He says that the special mattress stimulates blood circulation, keep one's fit and when use for a long time, it can prevent cancer and high blood pressure. Is it so fantastic? An actually healthy dad gets so mad that he may now have some symptoms of high blood pressure. He's been in the business world for a long time and experienced so many things but never came across such thing before. It's not that he can't afford to buy that mattress but he thinks that if he buys, it's like criticize his knowledge.

His son goes to seminars, meetings and he came home to force his dad to support him in his business. If his dad doesn't buy, he'll not meet the criteria to be a networker.

Showing others that he never put in effort in his first step towards his business. His son was actually in England for his studies. But while surfing around on the web, he found this company and joins them so he stopped his studies without informing his parent. As his parent to motivate him, they have no choice but to allow his son to continue with his business. Slowly his dad feels that things are not getting right. He never goes out to promote his products to other people but only to their relatives. His company even called him during midnight, asking him to go for meeting. All his colleagues smoke, drink and party while listening to successful people experiences.

How would a good company ask people to learn such unhealthy things?

Most of these companies are just cheater by using pyramid strategy to con innocent people's hard earned money.

In the company system, in order to join, you've to buy an expensive product package as the 'membership fee' to become a network marketer. They claim that in one or two month time, you can earn an income around $100k - $200k. That's really a lot ofmoney and very attractive!

Teenagers, who just finish their studies, have not seen the entire world yet, yearn for immediate success. Their demands are high so they are easily being brain wash by the MLM Company thus leading them into coning people and stopping their studies. Brainwashing method succeeds according to youngsters' mindset and needs. Since than this pyramid selling strategy is name 'finance ugly society'.

There are two main points to take note in a pyramid company:
1. The products price is higher than any others and they are notdoing any useful help to our body.
2. The commissions are not from products or services provided, it comes from other people 'membership fees'.

Companies claim to have high ROI grab those people who want to get rich quick, can earn for doing nothing, hope to be millionaires over midnight to attract young people. Would there be such good things in the world?

The people, who wanted to get their lost money back, join in the group to earn back their capital using dirty tricks. This snowball rolling strategy gets more people being cheated. These companies denied they are a pyramid company but claims that they are just network marketing or level selling groups.

So beware and take note of the above points to prevent yourself from joining into a crap company. 'No pain, no gain' is the word.

Daegan Smith

Article:

The MLM tools to grow your MLM home business can be simple and affordable. The best way to generate repeat and follow-upbusiness is to be friendly and offer good customer service the first time. It doesn't take a lot of expense to make a business prosper, but poor customer service can kill a business without spending any money at all. Often the best marketing is the marketing that is spread by word-of-mouth. Getting customers to talk about you and your services to others just takes a little extra effort on your part. Here are some MLM tools to help your develop a loyal clientele.

One no-cost MLM tool to generate repeat business is courtesy. That's right, just simple kindness. Talk with your customers while you are selling. Listen to their problems. If they are under the weather; send them a get-well card. If they are about to celebrate a birthday, drop another card. Send a thank-you note for their purchase. All these show you care more for the person rather than the sale. Most of the time your competition doesn't.

Another low-cost MLM tool to attract business is e-mail. You can start newsletters concerning your business and send them to your customers. Involve them as much as possible. Network Marketing Internet Business Basics

Author:
Lana Hampton

Article:
A network marketing Internet business is what millions of ordinary people are making extraordinary money from. You can too, but only if you put your mind to it. Come to think of it, a network marketing Internet business is no different from any other online business. The fundamentals are the same. What changes are the parameters. So what's keeping you from running your own successful network marketing Internet business? Nothing! Just find a legit core opportunity and get going.

Going by definitions, a network marketing Internet business program, also known as "network" or "matrix" marketing, is a way of selling goods or services online through distributors. These programs typically promise that if you sign up as a distributor, you will receive commissions - for both your sales of the program's goods or services and those of other people you recruit to join the distributors. Network marketing Internet business programs usually promise to pay commissions through two or more levels of recruits, known as the distributor's"downline."

Technology is rapidly changing the corporate world today, and network marketing businesses are no exception. Many network marketing Internet business companies make use of their web presence to enhance and accelerate the growth potential of their distributors.

Overwhelmed by the details of your new network marketing Internet business? Still struggling with them? Today there are so many companies, so many products, so much information and so many opportunities, it's easy to get lost in the maze. Don't panic. Just take them step by step. The first, and most important thing, is picking the right company with the right product and the right system that suits your personal style, interest and skills. Take the time to understand and manage your sales tools, marketing systems and compensation plans. The next step is getting ready for all the hard work and sheer perseverence. Accept that you are not going to get rich overnight. No one does. Growing your network marketing Internet business knowledge and earning that subsequent success is a life long process.

Choose a product that you feel good about, and select one or two methods from your sales training manual. Utilize the power ofthe Internet. You can build distributor networks on a national or even a global level right from your home computer. Now isn't that quite something? Make it a point to keep the plan as simple as possible but no simpler. In other words, don't be unprepared, but don't also do too much. Just keep on working consistently and stay committed to your goal. Take it one step at a time and you'll get there.

Why Network Marketing Never Works for You?

Author:
Farid Aziz

Article:

Still couldn't generate huge income with your current program?
Do you start thinking that this program you're in right now is not the right one for you?

Are you thinking of jumping to another Network Marketing program?Let me tell you this...if you always jump from one program to another just because you haven't earned adequate money, then you will never succeed in any program. Believe me.

Building your own organization of downlines needs patience and persistence. This applies to any business. Most of the times, it takes at least 1 year to finally see the best results in your Network Marketing business. That's why so many fail to succeed in Network Marketing. They just don't hang around long enough to see their success coming. Here is what frequently happens. After several months of advertising, prospecting and training the result is still frustrating, so they decide to quit and find a more suitable program. Guess what, they won't stay long in that new program too.

It becomes a habit. Hopping from one program to another. So please take my advice.
If you decide to join a credible and solid Network Marketing program, never never quit until you succeed!

Keep promoting and make evaluations.

Do some research. Do a lot of researches. What kind of advertising that works nowadays?
What works today may not work well next year.

Be patient.

People would gladly join under you if they know you well. Don't be too pushy in prospecting, or they will run away from you.

Be persistent.

Everyone has setbacks in their business. Don't take rejections personally. You don't need 1000 recruits under you. You just need a couple of those willing people who will run the business seriously. Your organization will grow rapidly from them. Promote, Patience and Persistence will take you to the top. Copyright 2005 Farid Aziz.

The 2 Types of People You will Find in Network Marketing

Author:
Doug Firebaugh

There are only two types of people you will run across in MLM. To be blunt, they are in every business.Every Company.Every Corporate Board.Every Church. Every Family. Every Association.Every Athletic League. Every School. Every University. Everywhere. And Anywhere. You Name it.You will find them.

There are More than just One in MLM and Network Marketing. And you will find that there is more of one than the other. And you wll find them in EVERY Network Marketing and MLMCompany. Ok... who are they? Simple:People that are OPEN to a new idea, And people that are CLOSED to a new idea. Let me repeat that. THIS IS IMPORTANT: People that are OPEN to a new idea, And people that are CLOSED to a new idea. People that are Closed to new ideas are not for this business, and about 60-70% of the people you talk to are closed.

They make great customers, but for the most part, horrible mlm distributors. INFERNO Secret:They look for reasons why something will NOT work, and they usually are fairly negative people. They do not like change, and they prefer for things to stay the same. They LOVE the status quo, and their favorite word is AVERAGE . People that are OPEN to the Idea of MLM are quite different.People that are Open to new ideas are generally more ambitious, energized, and successful. They look for things TO work, and they bring an energy to things that most of the world will not. These are the folks that are the LEADERS of the world, and usually do well in MLM and Network Marketing if they apply themselves. They love change, and understand that change bringswith it Growth, which is important to these folks. They cannot stand the status quo, and their favorite word is MORE.And if you have not figured it yet, RECRUIT the folks who are OPEN! You know what OPEN stands for? " Opportunity (and) Possibility Empowered Naturally."THAT is why they are powerful folks. They Empower Opportunityand Possibilities! Especially in MLM and Network Marketing.Open? or Closed. You Will Find Them Both in Home Business. You will run into both in Network Marketing. Don't take it personally if a person is closed to what you have to offer. They are closed to growth and expansion in their life for the most part, and probably will remain so. Don't waste your time trying to recruit them. Get them as a customer, and see if they know anyone is is open to MASSIVE SUCCESS and MLM Success!Blessings...doug Firebaugh / PassionFire Intl © 2005 PFI / all rights reserved

To MLM or Not To MLM?

Author: Lynn Harris

Article:

I was posed a question the other day about MLMs, why it leaves a bad taste in some peoples mouth, the term MLM even triggers spam filters. Some programs even advertise "This is not MLM" as though that is a plus for it.

Is MLM really bad?And it got me to thinking.....To MLM or not to MLM? That is a very good question with a lot o fopinions from many sides.....Here is mine. Yes there are many MLM companies that pushed big dreams andfell by the way side leaving a bad taste in some peoples mouths.Where massive amounts were made by company and upline on the sales of..... not products, but MARKETING MATERIALS! But can that not be said of other pay structures as well? And many people put thier hopes and dreams into a MLM company, only to see them squashed. But can that not be said of other pay structures as well? And, true, there is attrition in the lower ranks of MLM structured companies, does this make MLM a bad marketing concept? I must say very strongly NO! If you look at any online program you will find a high attrition rate, Why? Sadly, probably about 90% of online marketers will "try" a program for a couple or few weeks, if they are not seeing big rewards, they move on to the next "hot program".

So just by default you are going to have attrition. MLMers shouldn't let that discourage them, but it does. Many good marketers give upbecause so many of there downline drop out, leaving them feeling as though their hard work is for nothing. But it IS to be expected with any type of marketing system. Is that a negative on MLM? Or is that just a reflection to how life really is? One of the natural laws of online marketing that you will encounter, and should expect, IF you actually market anything.... One thing a good MLM does do, IF you want to become successful, is promote TEAMWORK. Which teamwork is a good concept even ifyou aren't doing MLM. Many affiliate programs are "multi-tiered"systems. Never have figured out the true difference between multi-tiered and MLM..... But any one that is in your downline that you earn a commission on deserves your help and support! After all, the more successful THEY are the more successful YOUwill be. A good MLM is structured to encourage this team building knowing that the company will benefit with a marketing force of strong teams supporting it. A good marketer will be willing to help, even if the person they offer help to isn't in their downline, even if that person isn't in the company they are promoting! In my opinion MLM is the best marketing system when it is coupled with a solid product or service, a good pay structure, and is backed by an honest and straight forward company. And though a "newbie" may not be as successful as someone with years of experience, if they are in an organization that "shares",they will get their training and will grow in knowledge as well as growing their business. As with any business online or off, to become successful in MLM marketing will require dedication, work, perseverance, and being approachable and helpful. You will have up days and down days, as in any business. But in a good MLM structured team you should also have a team full of support above and below you to celebrate the good with and get support through the bad. It is a people business!

What are MLM Leads?

Author: Jimmy Sturo

Article:Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a type of direct marketing that involves selling a product, service, information, or business opportunity. It is also known as network marketing, and typically operates as follows: the self-employed independent distributor first becomes associated with a parent company, andthen attempts to locate and sell to customers and others who may also want to become distributors. One of the main goals of MLMis to sell the product or service and to encourage the client tobecome an independent distributor and sell the services or product themselves. The prospects that may be interested inbecoming distributors are known as MLM leads.

These independent distributors, or business owners, receive compensation for buying the parent company's product or service, selling the product or service to others, and for expanding their network of people through MLM leads.

The "downline"consists of distributors recruited by business owner, who receives commissions based on their sales and the sales of the distributors they subsequently recruit. The "upline" consists of distributors who are above the business owner in the MLMhierarchy and receive commissions based on his or her sales. These commissions, also known as benefits or rewards, are tracked through a points system, where the points represent the total volume of products or services sold through the businessowner's network. If a business owner can recruit more independent distributors, he or she will receive more benefits or rewards. Some examples of widely recognized multi-level marketing companies are Mary Kay, Avon, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Amway, and Herbalife.

Is Email Marketing Still An Effictive Option for Network Marketing?

Author: Rich Niccolls
Article:Is Email Marketing Still An Effective Option For NetworkMarketing?

With email filters, blockers, and simply tons of unsolicitedemail, is email marketing still a viable option to build andgrow your network marketing business? The answer to thisquestion, in my opinion is "Yes, but."Let's deal with the "Yes" first, then we'll deal with the "But." I remember about 5 or 6 years ago putting about 400 leads intomy autoresponder and enrolling about 8 - 10 people a month intomy nutritional program. Today, if you had 10 times that manyleads, you may get a couple of prospects, and maybe, maybe, oneenrollment. It is true that times have changed, but that doesn'tnecessarily mean that email marketing is dead. Let's look at acouple of examples. One colleague of mine from California literally cannot keep upwith the large number of prospects inquiring about her program. She is signing up 10 - 15 people per month into her programwhich costs about $1300 to start. Eighty percent of her effortsare wrapped up in email marketing. She has gone through thelearning curve and is what I would call, a professional emailmarketer. How many emails does she send? About 1 million permonth.Another colleague of mine from Georgia is enrolling about 30people per month into his business, a $20 a month,non-nutritional program. He is not highly sophisticated in whathe does, but is effective enough to send out about 250,000 -300,000 emails per month. What is the biggest difference between now and then? Numbers. With the vast expansion of the Internet and email marketing, itsimply requires greater numbers to get results today. It is notuncommon for some folks to get a couple hundred unsolicitedemails a day that you must compete with. With the billions ofemails circulating on a daily basis, you need massive numbers toget results. So, how many emails should you send out? Keepreading. Now let's talk about the "But."The biggest downside to email marketing is that new recruits areweak. Email marketing is notorious for having a revolving doorwith new recruits. Why? There is no relationship involved exceptfor exchanging a few emails. Email marketing is very impersonal, and without the relationship, there is no bond (or glue) to holdthe new recruit in your business. Many leave as quickly as theycome. So how do you overcome this? With both of my colleagues whom I mentioned above, they are bothfanatical about picking up the phone within a very brief timethat the prospect visits their web site. One of the very firstcomments out of their mouth is "I wanted to give you a call andlet you know there is a real person on the other end of theemail." And it works!Picking up the phone, reaching out and touching them, andbeginning to bond with the new prospect or recruit is vital. Ifyou are not willing to pick up the phone, then email marketingisn't going to be worth it for you. One of email marketing'sstrengths is sorting through the prospects, then giving yousomeone to talk to. So, how many emails should you be sending out in order to getenough prospects to talk to so you can build your business? Asmany as you can. From my observation, 100,000 leads is minimum.Anything less will not produce results for you. If it is withinyour budget, 300,000 is a better number. For the "emailmarketing professional," maybe one million is a better number.Whatever the number, you must be committed to constant, consistent effort, followed up by a personal phone call. One final thought before we wrap this up. If you are going toinvolve yourself in email marketing, you must take the time andlearn how to do it right. Understand that some people willcomplain about not wanting your emails, you will getundeliverable emails and blocked emails, and your autorespondercompany may change their policies on you and you have to switchcompanies. But take the time to become a professional at whatyou do.In summary, is email marketing still effective for building yourMLM business? Yes. You simply must increase the numbers ofemails you are sending out. But, you must also understand thatyou must pick up the phone and reach out and touch yourprospects and new recruits or you will lose them. It is still aviable option for those who want to use this as a means ofgrowing their network marketing business.
